How We've Spent July

This summer has been flying by, but we've been able to spend most of it with family.

Above is a pic of Alexander and Andrew playing down by Papa's pond. There are lots of goldfish in it, and the kids get to feed them.

Aveya has been having some problems with her right ear. She has an ear infection that has lasted about a month and a half. Bumpa and Nana (my grandparents) live right across the street from Aveya's doctor's office. So, we've had a couple of lunches together this summer after Aveya's various appointments. Aveya has a fascination with jewelry (it's in her blood), and so Bumpa let her play with his collection of St. Christopher medals.

Andrew and Aveya enjoy spending time together. Even with 3.5 years between them, they manage to get along. Even when Andrew is being obnoxious, she is amused by him.

We spent one Saturday in Lake Geneva. Andrew got to feed the fish and watch the boats out on the lake. We enjoyed kettlecorn and a lunch by the lake.

As a bribe to wake up from his nap, I made Andrew his very own special icecream cone- complete with sprinkles.

This is Aveya after her third antibiotic. She was looking pretty rough last week, and this pic was taken the day she finally started to look better.

Daddy and Aveya standing outside Ryan's new car.

And here are the boys trying to figure out how you turn the car on WITHOUT a key. That's right, there is no key for the Prius. It turns on without a normal key. See Ryan for more details.

Since Aveya is growing like a weed, we had to go do some shopping for her. Ryan picked out these little jammies. :o) She's adorable, isn't she?!
