At 7:00 AM this morning, Ryan's dad, Gary, came over to help Ryan begin the swing set building. He had to leave at around 10:00 AM to open his store Elements of Nature. Elements of Nature is located in Lake Geneva and has some of the best cabin furniture and decor that you'll ever see. They also sell Denali blankets, which, as most of my friends can attest to, are the BEST blankets ever. Here's the website for those of you who are interested: http://www.shopelementsofnature.com/ This phenomenal website was designed by none other than my hubby, Ryan. (How did you like my free advertisement for you, Papa?)
Shortly after Gary left, Ryan's power drill's battery died. My parents came over with theirs to help Ryan out. My brother Phillip also came over and helped for awhile, but he escaped getting his picture taken. Evan and Kristin also came over so Evan could help out, and he brought his drill. As you can see- Andrew, my dad, Ryan, and Evan are working hard on the fort part of the swing set. At this point, swing set construction has taken approximately 8 hours. The box said it would take 6-8 hours for two men. The swing set is still not done, and it was worked on by at least six men by the end of the evening.
Here's a picture of Evan giving Andrew's fort a try. I think Evan just found the hottest new location for the boys' Dungeon and Dragons adventures. :)While the men built his swing set, Andrew ran around the back yard trying to make himself helpful. I went to the front yard to water our crispy grass, and Andrew decided to cool himself off by running through our sprinkler. I never expected him to run right through it, but he had a great time and got to cool off in the process. He even convinced me to run through the sprinkler with him a few times.

This is where construction ended for the day. Here's Andrew peeking out as the King of his Domain. Kristin and I went and bought groceries for a grill out. Lana, Ben, and Alex came over to pick up a tool that we had that Ben needed, and they stayed for dinner too. Phillip stopped by with Lyn Marie, and so we had a nice full house for dinner.

Here are Lyn Marie and Phillip. Aren't they cute?!
